Eamon Ore-Giron has created a new limited-edition print, Infinite Regress CXLVII (variation I), 2021, on the occasion of his exhibition The Symmetry of Tears, on view at 48 Walker Street through June 5. In his body of work entitled Infinite Regress (2015–ongoing), Ore-Giron creates highly-pigmented, evocative forms that recall religious iconography, sacred landscapes, and celestial bodies in cyclical passages of time. The works in this series are each a variation on the one that came before, suggesting a trajectory of future iterations.
