James Cohan has named David Norr a partner. Norr has been Senior Director at the gallery since 2015. Norr was previously Senior Curator of Exhibitions at the Wexner Center for the Arts and Chief Curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland.
James and Jane Cohan opened the gallery in 1999 and David is the first staff member to be made partner. “We are so pleased about David’s expanded role in the gallery.” James Cohan says in a statement, “he has brought so much growth to our program already and we look forward to the continued evolution of the gallery thanks to his talent and dedication.”
