Eamon Ore-Giron: Music & Sound

Eamon Ore-Giron: Music & Sound

Our latest Video Feature explores Eamon Ore-Giron's interest in music, and how the two musical tracks produced to accompany his exhibition, relate to the paintings on view at 48 Walker St. The first, “Past Yesterday,” was created by the artist and his long-time collaborator and friend Christopher Avitabile and was conceived as a separate, but complementary, element to the paintings. The second piece, “Fuego Lento,” is an unreleased track from the artist’s archive.

This Feature was made on the occassion of Eamon Ore-Giron's exhibition The Symmetry of Tears, on view at James Cohan, 48 Walker St, from May 1 through June 5, 2021.
